A 13-day High Arctic expedition from Reykjavík
Experience one of the most remote and dramatic regions of the High Arctic on this extraordinary 13-day expedition with National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions.
Sailing round-trip from Reykjavík aboard the purpose-built National Geographic Resolution, this voyage crosses the Davis Strait into the wild reaches of Baffin Island, Canada’s largest island. Here, glacier-carved fjords, towering cliffs, ancient ice floes and rugged coastlines create the setting for true expedition travel.
Each day is shaped by the conditions, with the captain and expedition team responding to the ice, weather and wildlife to make the most of every opportunity. You may explore by Zodiac, search for polar bears, whales, walruses and possibly narwhals, or step ashore in remote landing sites surrounded by some of the Arctic’s most spectacular scenery.
On board, expert naturalists, historians, photographers and expedition staff bring the region to life through talks, storytelling and interpretation, deepening your understanding of the landscapes, wildlife, science and culture of the Arctic.
