Explore Provence and the Rhône on a special Women’s Only Wine Cruise with AmaWaterways, sailing from Arles to Lyon aboard AmaKristina.
Over seven nights, travel through some of southern France’s beautiful wine regions and historic cities, including Arles, Avignon, Viviers, Tournon, Vienne and Lyon. Along the way, choose from walking tours, cycling excursions, wine tastings and local experiences, with plenty of time to enjoy life aboard the ship.
This special departure is hosted by Emmanuelle Bekkers of Bekkers Wine in McLaren Vale, who brings more than 30 years of winemaking experience in Australia and France to the cruise.
A wine cruise with a few extras
Along with the Colours of Provence experience, this sailing includes specially curated experiences such as a Pink French Martini demonstration and cocktail, lavender gin tasting, red wine and chocolate tasting, a Whispering Angel Rosé Sundeck Party and Miraval Champagne breakfast.
During the cruise, you can also choose from experiences including walking, cycling and Van Gogh-themed tours in Arles, Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine tasting, a truffle farm visit near Viviers, wine tasting in Tain-l’Hermitage, a Beaujolais wine excursion and tours of Avignon and Lyon.
What’s included
Your seven-night cruise aboard AmaKristina includes all gourmet meals onboard, including The Chef’s Table, sparkling wine with breakfast, premium wine and beer with lunch and dinner, juice, soft drinks, espresso coffee and tea throughout the day and a daily Sip & Sail Cocktail Hour.
You’ll also enjoy daily shore excursions with English-speaking local guides, onboard entertainment, complimentary Wi-Fi, a wellness program, fitness instructor, gym, heated pool, walking track and bicycles.
Port charges and prepaid gratuities are included, along with US$25 per person onboard credit that can be used towards laundry, a massage or purchases in the onboard boutique.
